Conveying Components |
| The
Fluid Solids Pump is a relatively simple pressure vessel in which air
is admitted into the tank during discharge and the material flows into
the conveying line until the tank is emptied and the conveying line
is blown clear by residual air pressure. It is available in standard
working capacities of from 1 to 400 cubic feet. The system can handle
pulverized, powdered, or mixed granular materials that fluidize with
aeration and emerge as dense, low velocity stream of material. The
DU-PUMP system is constructed to ASME code specifications, is dust-tight
and has no moving parts. It is designed to cycle a maximum of 20 times
per hour. The Ducon system is automatic, has low maintenance and conveys
products over long distances. |

DU-PUMP Control Systems The standard DU-PUMP control system includes a control panel fitted with electrical or pneumatic controls for the sequential operation of the Fluid Pump valves to fill and empty the tank on an intermittent, automatic cycle, or manual basis. The panel can be in a NEMA 12 enclosure. The solid state electronics panel is state-of-the-art technology and has provisions to stop the cycle from high level in day tank or storage bin. |
